POSITION TITLE: Quality Manager
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is a Nationwide full turnkey provider of technology infrastructure solutions including Wireline, Wireless, Technology, and Engineering. ADB is seeking a Quality Manager to directly oversee quality assurance on multiple sized and scoped telecommunications projects, including Wireline (OSP), Wireless, Critical Infrastructure, and Technology (ISP). This position will develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and standards nationwide. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of executing on ISP/OSP projects, is quality and safety focused with a strong work ethic and an ALL IN attitude to achieve results.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards across telecom projects (e.g., network rollout, fiber, wireless, 5G)
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and field services to ensure quality throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee testing protocols for network equipment, software, installations, and upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with telecom regulatory standards (e.g., FCC, ISO, TL 9000)
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, customer complaints, and service outages
  • Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and prepare for external audits, inspections and/or risk assessments
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes pertaining to quality standards
  • Track and report quality metrics, including defect rates, SLA adherence, and field inspection outcomes
  • Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across departments
  • Collaborate with external customers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality expectations are met
  • Upholds ADB's safety culture onsite, leads by example and drives the philosophy of ZERO throughout all project sites
  • Culture champion; leads by example and influences engagement into the ADB culture of community, wellness, development, and inclusion
  • Performs other position duties when requested

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, standing, walking, and driving
    • Regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and/or rainy spring, summer and fall weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
    • May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinated
    • When working on site, will be required to wear common protective of safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and safety boots


    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

    • 5+ years of experience managing ISP/OSP projects and/or QAQC programs within the Technology, Telecommunications, and/or Utility Construction industry required
    • Valid Driver License with the ability to drive a company vehicle required
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
