Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. (SBIR) is recruiting a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -- Front Desk Receptionist

Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel

Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department. Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable

Responsible for data entry into Goldmine customer contact database, Visual Manufacturing and other company databases

Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel

Monitors visitor access

Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as creating and/or maintaining documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, scanning and e-filing into DocStar software, filing, photocopying, and collating

Receives, sorts, and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications

Maintains copiers, fax machines, other office machines

Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS -- Front Desk Receptionist

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Associate's Degree and previous experience (three to five years) related experience or training. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be effective in a team structure. Ability to work in a hands-on fast paced company. Strong computer skills specifically in Excel and Word. Ability to work Full-Time, M-F.

$22/hr. - $28/hr. DOE

Due to US Export Control Regulations compliance, eligible candidates MUST be a US citizen, permanent resident or a person who has been granted asylum; proper documentation is required.

Pre-employment verifications: must pass background, reference and ITAR/EAR checks in addition to a pre-employment drug screen.
