SQL/C# Developer - Sunrise, FL

Air Cost Control ("A2C"), a subsidiary of HEICO, a leading aviation electrical interconnect product distribution Company, is seeking to fill a FL-based position for an additional SQL/C# Developer. We are expanding our IT staff and capabilities for developing applications and interfaces in ERP, eCommerce, EDI, Document Management Systems, Warehouse Logistics, etc. This includes enhancements to current applications, as well as developing new applications and incorporating new technologies like AI!.

We are seeking a junior to mid-level developer for a full-time position. You will be joining a development team currently composed of four engineers based in France, making this role a great opportunity to work in an international environment. This role will be on-site in Sunrise, FL, but will report to the IT Application Development Manager, based in France. Your direct manager will be onsite in Sunrise, FL during your onboarding period to support your integration and provide hands-on training in our tools and development practices You will also be required to travel to France during the initial training period for approximately two weeks, with regular travel to France expected thereafter.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• ERP experience is requested (Ideally Syteline ERP, Mongoose)
• Proven experience as a SQL/C#/React role
• Strong proficiency in SQL database design, development, and administration
• Solid understanding of .NET/C# programming concepts and frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Knowledge of front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• E-Commerce is a huge plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

SQL Server, SQL, Transact-SQL, C#, React, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, VB Script, Visual Studio, Object-oriented programming.

Ability to travel globally

Knowledge and Experience (1-3+years):

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL database systems, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security
• Develop and maintain .NET/C# applications, utilizing best practices for code quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Exposure to data processing, enterprise software application, and outsourced systems
• Build working relationships within the business and team members using effective communication skills and analyzing business requirements to provide design guidance and advice
• Be proactive in terms of identifying potential problems and possible solutions to those problems in an open and collaborative manner
• Actively develop, implement, and maintain standards ensuring compliance to change control processes, relevant industry standards, government, and departmental policies

Desirable:

• Experience in developing in SyteLine ERP application (Mongoose)
• Experience in other commercial applications (EDI, e-Commerce, WMS, AI integration)
• Knowledge of French language
