| Hitachi Energy located in Alamo, TN is seeking a Weekend Electro Mechanical Repair Technician to join its team. In this position, you will follow safety and work procedures to perform preventative maintenance, routine mechanical and/or electrical repairs on production and processing equipment. The selected candidate will troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and replace electrical and/or mechanical components as necessary to ensure maximum uptime and customer satisfaction and modify equipment as assigned to support a continuous improvement culture.   Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures including Lock-Out-Tag-OutProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipmentInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machines and plant equipmentPerform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment and make recommendations to PM programRun conduit and pull wire for new machines and equipment.Must be able to read/follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings and technical manualsWorking knowledge of 115 & 480V equipment, how to safely troubleshoot, diagnose and repairTroubleshoot/repair systems or equipment such as hydraulic systems, transformers, motors, DC circuitry, PLCs, variable frequency drives, relays, switches, position sensing devices and printed circuit boardsMonitor and document observations, settings, readings, meters, gauges as requiredProficient in using common electrical/mechanical devices. Ex. multi-meter, amp-probe, megger, calipers, micrometers, dial indicatorPerform simple machinist duties and responsibilitiesPerform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functionsBasic welding and cutting, including acetylene torch, plasma, stick, and brazingSecure and complete required department work order documentationResponsible for housekeeping in his/her work area and general surroundingsPerform other tasks and duties as assigned Your Background:  Associate's degree in an engineering discipline or industrial maintenance/electrician certificate from an accredited trade school.Apply now Current employees apply here |
