Engineering Project Support Specialist

Position Description

Your Opportunity:

TechSource is hiring a full-time Engineering Project Support Specialist to support the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) Office of Defense Programs. In this role, you will provide engineering project support to optimize components, processes, and requirements. This is full-time onsite work at NNSA, located in Albuquerque, NM.

What You Will Do:

• Support the W80-4 Federal Program Office (FPO), specifically Nuclear Components.
• Support the flow down of all requirements for Project Engineering, System Engineering and configuration management in the NA-125.3 FPO.
• Collect and perform project controls analysis on technical data with the ability of communicating performance metrics.
• Communicate with customers on recommendations to improve NNSA to Labs, plants and sites (LPS) workflows.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5 years of engineering project support experience.
• Active DOE Q (or DoD Top Secret) security clearance required.
• Demonstrated experience with DOE Orders and Directives and NNSA Guides and Policies.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Project development life cycle phases from inception to deployment preferred.
• Experience working on DOE or NNSA projects preferred.
