Senior Project Controls Specialist

Position Description

Your Opportunity:

TechSource is hiring a full-time Project Controls Specialist to support the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) Office of Defense Programs. In this role, you will provide scheduling expertise to large, complex schedules including managing and providing status updates to technical customers and management regarding schedules in Primavera P6 while utilizing earned value management principles and methodologies. Serve as a leader and mentor to early career staff members. This is full-time onsite work at NNSA, located in Albuquerque, NM.

What You Will Do:

* Manage complex schedules using P6.

* Communicate with customers on status updates regarding schedules, including budgets, deliverables, and timelines.

* Manage multiple project schedules, tracking performance metrics and key deliverables to ensure alignment with cost and schedule goals.

* Mentor junior project controls and schedule analysts.

What You Will Need:

* Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years of project controls work experience using P6.

* Active DOE Q (or DoD Top Secret) security clearance required.

* Demonstrated experience with DOE Orders and Directives and NNSA Guides and Policies.

* Experience implementing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) aligned with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Lifecycle Phase milestones.

* Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

* Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
