Our client is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes that ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with customer and industry requirements. Core Responsibilities:
* Analyze customer engineering drawings and documentation to determine material, process, and quality requirements.
* Process parts from a blueprint, raw material to final assembly. Process a variety of parts made from aluminum, magnesium, stainless steel, Inconel titanium, etc.
* Determine process and tools required to achieve product specifications and business objectives. Design fixtures and tooling.
* Read and interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances and symbols to meet military and commercial specifications
* Analyze and resolve day to day production problems; this position requires a high degree of problem solving skills and machining knowledge
* Material Review Board (MRB) process and complete repairs for nonconforming parts
* Develop and refine manufacturing processes from concept through first article production, ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Create, update, and maintain operation sequence sheets to support both new orders and process improvement initiatives.
* Assist in the design and modification of tools, gauges, and fixtures to enhance production capabilities.
* Conduct engineering change reviews, including cost impact analysis, tooling modifications, and material utilization assessments.
* Develop and implement repair procedures for non-conforming products and customer returns.
* Ensure that all special processes and tooling conform to customer, organizational, and regulatory standards.
* Support responses to Requests for Quotations (RFQs) by providing technical insight and feasibility analysis.
* Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive operational success and meet customer expectations.
* Stay informed on emerging manufacturing technologies, process advancements, and lean methodologies to enhance production efficiency.
* Utilize Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools to drive operational excellence and reduce waste.

Qualifications:
* 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
* Knowledge/understanding of aerospace welding, coatings, heat treatment, machining, and grinding, etc.
* Strong understanding of SolidWorks, CAD, & Mastercam programming software. Familiarity with CNC programming a plus.
* Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability. Excellent time management skills ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret aerospace specifications, procedures, and standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Education Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering; related field, or equivalent experience.
