The mechanical Installation technician work activities may include the coordination and installation, de-installation, relocation, and/or service upgrades of high value complex equipment in but not limited to hospitals, universities and Federal Buildings. Various equipment from each modality may include but not be limited to AXA, AXD, CT, MR, and NM and other related technical paraphernalia associated with these modalities.? ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUp to 100% travel throughout the country Maintains integrity of confidential information Maintains customer relationships, and comply with PROB SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and policy, customer requirements, and statutory and regulatory guidelines Responsible for following all safety OSHA guidelines Maintains a safe work environment through safe work practices To deliver a safe and timely installation to the customer Assists the Team Leader with maintaining documentation in accordance with the PROBO SOP and customer requirements Represents PROBO and the customer in a professional and courteous manner Assists Team Leader with quality and compliance with the PROBO SOP, customer requirements, and ISO 9001:2008 (International Standard Organization) and ensures each process is followed by each team member Assists the Team Leader with coordinating suppliers and helps direct on-site deliveries of equipment. Requirements
Required Education and Experience:High diploma, GED or equivalentAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.? Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.? Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.? Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.? Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.? Ability to read Metric and Standard measurement and use leveling methods to complete related work activities.? Provide and maintain a valid driver's license and maintain clean driving record.? Preferred Education and Experience:Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year university or technical school; or a minimum of 2 years of related experience to the work activities or equivalent combination of education and experience.The anticipated hiring range is $22-$24/hr. This range may vary and is based on several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, etc.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSUp to 100% travel throughout the countryWORK ENVIRONMENTMonitor the safety and environmental conditions within the designated facility and deploy awareness to the on-site team in accordance with the PROBO Safety Manual.
