Provide office services to support management and business operations according to business objectives and generally accepted office and administrative standards. You will be responsible for processing raw material goods receipts for Cheyenne Plant.

What You'll Do

As an Operations Coordinator, you will support operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of purchase and sales transactions, with attention to cost management, loss control and compliance to regulatory agencies and company policies. You will be responsible for managing permits and licenses across state and local agencies and ensures accurate record keeping and reporting as required by the department of transportation. Other duties include:

  • Transcribe retail sales activities from daily information using Dyno Nobel's ERP software system, SAP
  • Create/process SAP sales orders and ensure accurate and timely invoices.
  • Order entry is an extremely precise operation as the majority of sales items are regulated at a Federal level by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF).
  • Collect required documentation and ensure prompt processing to add new accounts or customer sites.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to regulatory agencies.
  • Secure, monitor and manage renewal of required permits and licenses
  • Negotiate prices/terms and coordinate timely delivery to minimize downtime at the lowest cost. Secure multiple quotes when required by policy.
  • Coordinate with authorized purchasers to meet immediate requirements.
  • Coordinate with corporate procurement to secure purchasing approval.
  • Ensure the accurate and prompt processing of goods receipts.
  • New vendor set up (obtaining appropriate information and negotiating payment terms)
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Planner for accurate tracking of maintenance cost, downtime and utilization.
  • Manage inputs to operations dashboards and provide timely reporting to Operations Manager and General Manager.
  • Assist the Regional Training Coordinator to plan and schedule training events and record completion in software systems. Coordinate with corporate HR training team to ensure compliance to mandatory learning

What We're Looking For:

  • Associate's degree in a business-related field (finance or accounting preferred) - bachelors degree preferred

  • 4+ years related experience (below) may be considered for some required education.

  • Professional experience in construction, mining, facilities management, manufacturing, or maintenance planning role

  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software and ERP business systems (Enterprise Resource Planning), SAP preferred.

  • Accounting, payables, purchasing, procurement and goods receiving.

  • Knowledge and understanding of DOT/HAZMAT regulatory requirements.

  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
