Description: What you'll be doing

Another Source's client is recruiting a Director of MA Programs to join their team on-site in New York, NY.

About the role:

A leading institution in art education is seeking a dynamic and strategicDirector of MA Programsto oversee the management, growth, and development of its in-person and online graduate programs. This role will be responsible for leading academic operations, managing faculty and staff, ensuring academic quality, and driving innovation in curriculum and program delivery.

The anticipated yearly salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $160,000 annually based on experience.

What you will be doing:

    Leading and managing graduate-level academic programs (in-person and online)
  • Supervising and supporting faculty and administrative staff
  • Collaborating on curriculum development, strategic planning, and budgeting
  • Building strong partnerships across departments and with external stakeholders
  • Maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Representing the institution locally and internationally in academic and professional settings
  • Contributing to long-term institutional growth and sustainability

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership in higher education, preferably at the graduate level
  • Experience in arts education or related fields strongly preferred
  • Strong strategic, operational, and financial management skills
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive academic culture
  • Experience working with accrediting bodies and regulatory agencies
  • Advanced degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City
