As the Senior Billing Project Analyst, you will play a critical business role in the enterprise project to design, build, and implement a new billing solution for the US, Canada, and Mexico. This position is responsible for maintaining project timelines, stakeholder engagement, managing project communication, project incident tracking, and collaboration with cross functional teams. The Billing Project Analyst will also facilitate requirements gathering from the business, data analysis, and testing for project.

A Day in the Life

Project Coordination & Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications within the team
  • Maintain and communicate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Provide timely updates to the manager on project progress, issues, and potential risks
  • Track and report on project status to leadership and relevant stakeholders as required

Project & Incident Management:

  • Manage project from initiation to completion, ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes
  • Track progress, successfully meet timelines, and mitigate risks
  • Gain review and approval of requirements, maps and other objects from various business teams
  • Provide insights and recommendations from prior billing roles and system knowledge

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal (team) and external stakeholders to gather and document new requirements
  • Facilitate discussions to identify process gaps, areas for improvement, and automation opportunities
  • Ensure alignment of project goals with business needs and corporate strategy
  • Assist in the development of presentations materials

Functional Expertise & System Support:

  • Gain functional expertise in billing processes and act as a subject matter expert (SME) when required
  • Support leadership and team members in solving process-related challenges and operational issues as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics or a related field of study or 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum three years of experience in project work, billing/finance, or with a top-tier management consulting firm, or as a data analyst
  • Knowledge of data-driven analysis, project delivery practices and standards across a process improvement lifecycle
  • Experience assessing project risk and implementing appropriate control mechanisms
  • Experience in generating project documentation and reports
  • Application proficiency: Excel/Smartsheet power user, Outlook, Power Point, JIRA
  • Experience with data analysis tools, SQL
  • Knowledge of automation technologies such as Power Automate, RPAs, Alteryx and other solutions a plus
  • Knowledge of and hands-on experience with SAP S4/HANA a plus

The hiring base salary range for this position is $75,500 - $103,800 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
