Creighton University in Omaha, NE is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant for Creighton Student Groups and Clubs.

Provides administrative support to Student life and the Student Groups (roughly 380 student clubs) on the Omaha, Phoenix and regional campuses. Performs a diverse set of duties including the reconciling of monthly purchasing cards, processing of bills, maintaining files, reconciling expenses reports, in-person, phone and email communication to internal and external constituents, and other general office duties.

Key Responsibilities



  • Collecting and reconciling monthly receipts within P card system
  • Coordinate the purchasing card program. Confers with and advises card holders and card custodians by providing technical advice, problem solving assistance, training, and policy guidance
  • Reconciling Banner with Fund/Org accounts
  • Creating and reviewing expense reports
  • Communicating expense violations with Creighton Students Union, club officers/moderators, and SLIC staff
  • Process direct pay requests, reconcile deposits, report suspected fraudulent P card activity
  • Communicate with Finance division as liaison



Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years' administrative support experience, preferably including financial processes
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated customer service focus and ability to resolve conflict and deal with demanding clients.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reconciliations, credit card and other banking platforms is helpful.
