At Lee Health, our Nurse Educators are leaders in excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a Clinical Education Supervisor RN to help advance clinical practice and support nursing excellence across our HealthPark Medical Center campus. In this role, you'll champion education that empowers teams, enhances care delivery, and aligns with our strategic goals.
What Youll Do:
- Identify and address campus-specific learning and practice gaps
- Lead campus-level educational initiatives and supervise clinical educators
- Collaborate system-wide to align learning with organizational goals
- Support the development of standardized practices across the health system
- Consult with leadership, physicians, and teams on performance improvement, clinical competency, and education strategies
- Contribute to system committees and evidence-based initiatives
- Serve as a key liaison with academic institutions and clinical rotation programs
- Apply instructional design principles to deliver effective, data-driven education
- Evaluate the impact of education on clinical outcomes, safety, and engagement
- Ensure educational programs meet all regulatory and accreditation standards
Qualifications:
Education
Masters degree in Nursing required
Masters in Education preferred
If Masters is not in nursing, BSN required and post-grad education in instructional design or certification in Nursing Professional Development preferred
Experience
Minimum 5 years of full-time clinical nursing experience
At least 2 years in a formal nursing education role
At least 1 year of formal managerial experience
Licensure & Certification
Current RN license in the State of Florida required
BLS certification (American Heart Association) required within 90 days of employment
Certification in Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) preferred or must be obtained within 2 years
Additional Skills & Requirements
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
Comfortable using technology for presentations and education delivery
Active membership in professional organizations such as ANPD or ATD preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
