Client Benefits Specialist Location: Hybrid - Preferred near Irvine or Woodland Hills, CA
Department: Employee Benefits About the Role Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about helping people navigate their benefits? We're looking for a proactive, organized professional to support our Employee Benefits team. This role focuses on benefit plan operations, open enrollment logistics, client communication, and system support. Key Responsibilities * Manage daily benefit administration tasks: enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries * Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill client document requests * Prepare and distribute annual legal notices and open enrollment materials * Build and maintain open enrollment presentations and support benefits webinars * Order and verify materials from carriers * Maintain client renewal data in the AMS tracking system * Configure and manage enrollment portals (Ease, Employee Navigator); resolve system alerts * Serve as the primary contact for benefit platform setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance * Coordinate printing and shipping of communication materials * Work with marketing to design and deliver benefit guides * Request, track, and file benefit documentation (SBCs, EOCs, COCs) * Support plan renewals and new plan/vendor implementations * Conduct audits and payroll reconciliations * Participate in cross-functional projects related to open enrollment and client onboarding * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred * Minimum 2 years of experience in employee benefits or insurance * Proficient with enrollment platforms (Ease, Employee Navigator) * Strong written communication and attention to detail * Excellent organizational and customer service skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel * Active Life & Health License preferred (or required within 90 days of hire) * Team-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities Preferred Tools & Systems * Ease, Employee Navigator, AMS tracking system, ADP, Workday *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
