Top Tier Benefit Packages: Medical, Dental, and Vision 401 (k) plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Responsibilities Reporting to the CFO, the System Director is responsible providing operational oversight and strategic direction to the system-wide revenue cycle functions. The System Director will work with stakeholders across the organization to maximize both profitability and productivity and ensure best practices while fully complying with all regulatory and third-party payer reimbursement requirements. The System Director manages, coordinates, and oversees revenue management activities, including revenue integrity, billing, insurance follow-up, clinical denials, cash applications, self-pay collections, and customer service. Manages a total team of approximately 90 - 100 co-workers, up to five vendors, and six manager-level direct reports. The System Director will perform duties as assigned and in accordance with the Hospital mission, values, and behavioral standards. Key knowledge and skills include: Understanding acute care hospital and physician practice operations, as well as other health care services Tackling complex system issues between payer and provider Effectively managing activities and personnel issues related to a large, complex team Communicating concisely and accurately with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing Overseeing all backend revenue cycle functions, as well as self-pay operations that include financial eligibility & clearance, public benefits, and financial assistance Analyzing receivables, unbilled/candidate for billing claims, patient collections, and other key areas that impact patient revenue Working closely with physicians and front-line staff to expedite the charge capture, billing process while mitigating downstream denials Developing and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures Setting department goals and measures for performance at regular intervals Establishing a culture of continuous improvement, always evaluating opportunities for improvement Serving as a role model for staff Qualifications Required Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Healthcare Administration; Master's degree preferred Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations (hospital and physician practice management). Basic data analytics is required. Epic experience is strongly preferred, as well as technical literacy regarding interfaces for supporting software and services, and process automation through AI, ML, RPA, etc. Knowledge of process improvement methods including LEAN and Six Sigma preferred. *This role is based in Oklahoma City/ 7800 NW 85th Terrace- 73132.
