Position Summary:
This temporary System Engineer position located at our manufacturing facility in Danbury, CT and reporting to the Sr. Manager, Support Center, is responsible for supporting our Commercial Operations expansion. This includes configuring iPads and laptops, supporting the end user community, including onsite and remote workers and educating new users on MannKind's technical solutions.
**THIS IS A CONTRACT ROLE FOR 9 MONTHS.**
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Administer and oversee iPad deployment using the Mobile Device Management (MDM) tool.
- Provide general technical support for hardware, operating systems, database, telephony systems, and the corporate networks.
- Conduct thorough new employee orientation sessions for remote workers.
- Provide extraordinary support to all levels of the organization.
- Perform routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and their peripherals.
- Undertake special projects as directed by IT management.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
- BA/BS degree with 2-3 years related experience or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Solid knowledge of iOS operating system, configuration and features.
- Experience with Microsoft O365 deployments and support, desktop services, and collaboration services (Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and other Microsoft services)
- Experience deploying Windows operating systems and supporting HP laptops and peripherals.
- An understanding of PXE technology, deploying and managing computer imaging across a network.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Proven ability to perform efficiently in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
