Role Overview: Banking as a Service (BaaS) offered by BNY is a financial service that allows FinTechs, MSBs, MTLs, and Corporates to offer banking products to their customers without being banks themselves. BNY's BaaS strategy is defined as powering our bank and non-bank clients to provide self-branded, account-based financial services to their customers. We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Fraud & Compliance (PCI-DSS) Product Manager to join our Banking as a Service [RI1] within Treasury Service team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - Hybrid, On-Site In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- PCI-DSS Coordinator:
- Serve as the PCI-DSS Audit Coordinator, playing an integral role in maintaining and enhancing our secure card data environment. This position provides the opportunity to collaborate with various departments and lead cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing PCI-DSS compliance.
- Establish and uphold the PCI-DSS strategy for Treasury Services, ensuring adherence to all applicable PCI-DSS requirements.
- Conduct thorough PCI-DSS gap analyses and maintain a detailed inventory of PCI-DSS hardware and software.
- Guide the organization through a comprehensive review of the cardholder data environment (CDE) via a mandated semi-annual scoping exercise.
- Ensure the organization's annual certification of compliance, including meeting all requirements on quarterly or biannual cycles.
- Fraud Analytics
- Provide support as one of our fraud strategy analysts, safeguarding our card portfolio against various threats such as card-not-present fraud, bot attacks, and enumeration schemes while continuously adapting to ever-evolving fraud methodologies and trends.
- Develop and implement transactional fraud strategies through our decisioning engine utilizing data and analytics.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of these strategies for continuous reporting, tracking, and risk oversight.
- Maintain, create, and supervise alert and detection queues.
- Lead and support additional Risk and Governance activities supporting the Banking as a Service agenda.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- 5-7 years of experience in fraud analytics, prevention, PCI-DDS preferred.
- Proven card payments industry knowledge and understanding of end-to-end processing.
- Proficiency with analytic tools (SQL, R studios, IFM-X, Excel).
- Experience in data mining, query creation, data extract/import.
- Effective collaboration with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
- Strong skills in data analysis and decision-making.
- ISA, PMP, QSA, CISSP, or CISM certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Experience in agile environments.
- Bachelor's degree in business management or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
