Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst role involvesconducting comprehensive financial analyses, developing financial models and forecasts, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.They work closely with the CFO, Controller, Senior management and other teams to improve financial performance and ensure compliance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis:Analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support business decisions.
  • Financial Modeling:Creating and maintaining complex financial models, including budgets and forecasts.
  • Reporting:Preparing financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:Assisting with the development and execution of budgets and forecasts.
  • Variance Analysis:Analyzing and interpreting variances in financial data.
  • Collaboration:Working with cross-functional teams to gather information and provide insights.
  • Performance Monitoring:Tracking and evaluating financial performance against goals and benchmarks.
  • Compliance:Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, regulations, and company policies.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis:Performing ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
  • Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.
  • Able to work independently as well as with teams.
  • Strong organizational ability; detail oriented; high degree of accuracy.
  • Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.
Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Master's degree or certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel).
  • Experience with financial reporting and compliance.
  • Experience in Power BI.
  • Experience in Financial Software such as Tableau preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial databases.

Expected annual salary of $100,000 to $150,000.
