The Associate Project Manager (APM) serves as the primary support for ensuring PMO processes are being followed and adhered to by project teams across the IT Portfolio. This role includes tracking progress and status and reporting weekly to key stakeholders. This role serves as a medium between a project manager and the rest of the team working on assigned small projects. This role will support project managers or functional managers by overseeing administrative tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring resource availability for the project teams prior to onboarding new projects. This is a remote position. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Foster cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables. Understand a project's scope and create documents for project requirements. Conduct project meetings to communicate individual roles, project expectations, and ensure that all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively. Monitor projects on a regular basis, evaluating progress and quality, and managing issue resolution process to ensure corrective actions are taken. Maintain the quality of all project document/data to assure the integrity of a project. Work with the project manager to report analyzed data and communicate results. Ensure weekly and accurate reporting across portfolio is in line with PMO and Stakeholder expectations. Develop additional tools and refine processes to help all projects run effectively to support operational excellence. Coordinate schedule of activities related to the project. Analyze and discuss the potential risk or benefit involved in using the specified technology solution to address the project requirements. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 2-3 years of project coordinator or project management experience Other Attributes: Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams) Ability to follow direction with minimal oversight Preferred Qualifications: PMP certification 0-10% Travel This position is not eligible for employer-based sponsorship. Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range is 70,000-109,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level.
