We're seeking a dynamic Color Product Developer Technologist to join our team, specializing in the application of natural colorants. Your expertise will be key in driving innovation and delivering tailored application support to both current and prospective customers. In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team including R&D, sales, marketing, quality, and others to bridge the gap between our technical capabilities and customer needs. You will formulate new products, develop process improvements, and perform stability studies. You'll conduct market research to identify and produce samples of applications for new and existing products, contributing to the development of innovative solutions using benchtop and pilot equipment. Technical skills such as colorimetry and UV-VIS spectrophotometry will be vital in performing routine analysis of lab samples and supporting product development. Additionally, you will offer technical assistance to customers by performing application experiments tailored to specific projects and strategic partnerships. This work can range from surveying color performance in food & beverage systems in a kitchen environment to implementing & validating a colorant in a production-scale food manufacturing plant. You'll also conduct stability studies to assess color performance through processing and shelf-life, while actively participating in interdepartmental planning and customer interactions.
