Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Account Executive is a full-time position responsible for prospecting new business, building a robust pipeline, cultivating relationships, and utilizing a consultative sales approach to close sales. The Account Executive will hold themselves accountable to continuously learn and grow, while:

  • Building a strong pipeline through effective lead generation and prospecting techniques.
  • Prospect small-to-medium sized businesses in the market area by conducting meetings, setting goals, and implementing weekly prospecting behaviors.
  • Evaluating prospects' business needs to suggest appropriate advertising packages.
  • Cultivating relationships with business owners and senior executives through face-to-face meetings and written communication.
  • Collecting clients' accounts receivable and updating the system regularly.

Maintaining relationships with the production department to ensure timely delivery for all


Qualifications

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Two years of sales experience, with some media sales is preferred
  • Proficient in interpersonal skills, including both written and oral communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude, who welcomes coaching and mentoring

PAY: Salary and commission

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Bachelor's degree preferred.
