Senior Compliance Analyst Remote

This position is responsible for assisting the Sr. Manager Contracting with various contracting responsibilities, including those related to customer contracting for health plan administrative service agreements. The Senior Compliance Analyst: Contracts Consultant will oversee all aspects of the Company's administrative service agreements, including business associate agreements under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA"). The Contracts Consultant assists business stakeholders with administrative service agreement administration. The Contracts Consultant maintains the contract management database, including a system for monitoring execution, renewals, notice requirements, term and termination, and ongoing maintenance of administrative service agreements. The Contracts Consultant's work impacts the Company's legal, regulatory, contractual, sales, and financial obligations.

MAJOR CHALLENGES:



  1. Establishing effective relationships with internal departments in order to facilitate Company-wide vendor and customer contracting activities.
  2. Updating and maintaining the contract management database.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Draft and negotiate administrative service agreements.
  • Ensure administrative service agreements comply with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Sales team with contract lifecycle management, including routine administration and execution.
  • Maintain the contract management database, including a system for monitoring execution, renewals, notice requirements, term and termination, and ongoing maintenance of administrative service agreements.
  • Provide contractual interpretations to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Sales and Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, and Government Affairs departments in a manner that fosters effective working relationships and a positive work environment.
  • Consult with internal resources as needed to fulfill these duties.
  • Serve in a support role for the Sr. Manager Contracting by being a subject matter expert for administrative service agreements and the Company's customers.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years of Experience with contracting, legal or related department experience including preparation, review, administration, maintenance, and monitoring of contracts and other legal documents; and demonstrating competence and the working knowledge and understanding of contract lifecycle management and the contracting environment.
