Compensation Range:142,000-177,200 plus 15% Bonus

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.

Job Purpose

The Director, ES Sales Operations is responsible for leading the sales management operating system which includes: optimizing sales practices, driving rigor within the sales pipeline, maintaining data integrity, and managing our sales technology platform. The Director, ES Sales Operations will develop and manage a high-performing sales operations team responsible for sales strategy and planning, sales performance reporting and analysis, pricing analysis, sales training and enablement, incentive plan design, and Salesforce implementation & management.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in sales operations or related fields, excellent people management skills, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and extensive experience leading Salesforce implementation and adoption.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversees the implementation and management of Salesforce, and other tools.
Collaborates with IT to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Leads overall sales operations strategy and execution
Oversees sales pipeline management and performance tracking
Supports and enables order forecasting
Partners with sales leadership to improve productivity
Oversees key sales initiatives and cross-functional coordination
Partners with marketing ensuring campaign effectiveness
Utilizes data analytics to provide insights into sales performance, trends, and opportunities.
Develops and presents regular reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics.
Oversees the design and administration of sales compensation plans.
Works closely with other departments, including marketing, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment of sales operations process, tools and data with overall business objectives and budgetary considerations.
Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA is a plus)
10+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or related roles
Minimum 3 end to end Salesforce implementations covering Lead to Opportunity
Proven experience leading teams and partnering with sales leadership in Energy Storage Telecom, Broadband, and Data
Experience with fast-paced, growth-oriented B2B or SaaS environments is preferred

  • Analytical Expertise: Strong data analysis skills with experience in forecasting, performance tracking, and sales reporting
  • Process Optimization: Skilled at identifying inefficiencies and driving improvements in sales processes and workflows
  • Tech Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Salesforce, sales tools, and BI platforms
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Able to influence and work effectively across departments (sales, marketing, finance, etc.)
  • Change Management: Demonstrated success driving change, implementing new systems, and scaling operations
  • Communication & Leadership: Clear communicator with strong leadership presence and the ability to present to executives
