POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resource Administrator will be responsible in assisting and coordinating the hiring, training, safety, benefits and personnel functions. This position also assists with many of the daily and weekly payroll functions for the hourly Team Members.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Track daily absenteeism and prepares daily and/or weekly reports.
  • Assists in the hourly selection process, exercising discretion in interviewing, selecting, and training of employees.
  • Conducts certain aspects of orientation for new hires.
  • Prepares new hire performance evaluation time schedules and forms for Area Managers.
  • Participates in the Safety Team and problem solving (8D) meetings.
  • Has the responsibility to track hourly team members' benefit enrollment to insure they are done on a timely basis.
  • Maintains all hourly personnel files, benefit records, medical files and I-9 forms.
  • Has the authority to set up plant physicals and drug screens.
  • Processes unemployment, employment verification, and insurance forms.
  • Assists with first aid room and supplies.
  • Administers all benefits and policies and answers employees' questions about benefits and policies.
  • Completes insurance termination paperwork with TPA within one (1) week of termination.
  • Maintains the integrity of the HRIS and attendance databases.
  • Treats all other team members with respect and dignity.
  • Performs other essential functions as assigned.
