We're seeking an Executive Protection Advisor to play a meaningful role in safeguarding our high-profile executives and key company assets. This position goes beyond traditional security-it requires a dynamic leader who can seamlessly blend protection with discretion, ensuring safety while minimizing disruptions to daily operations. What you will do:

Executive Protection & Security Operations Coordination:

  • Support the implementation and updating of executive protection programs tailored to company leadership and VIPs.
  • Support the conduction of risk assessments and threat analysis for executives and their families, both domestically and internationally.
  • Coordinate comprehensive travel logistics, encompassing advance site assessments, secure transportation arrangements, emergency response planning, assignment of team members, and evaluation of necessity for in-person coverage of trips and events.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive movements, security measures, and critical company information.

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Coordinate team schedules and assignments to ensure optimal coverage and readiness for all executive protection activities.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with law enforcement agencies, intelligence professionals, and private security firms.

Crisis Management & Emergency Response:

  • Support the Executive Protection Supervisor in the development and implementation of comprehensive crisis response plans for various emergencies, including medical incidents, natural disasters, and security threats.
  • Monitor global security threats and provide intelligence updates to executives and key partners, ensuring informed decision-making and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Serve as point of contact during security incidents, coordinating rapid response efforts and ensuring timely resolution to protect executive safety and continuity of operations
  • Coordinate planning efforts with local authorities and emergency services to ensure comprehensive preparedness for potential crises.

Budgeting & Resource Management:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Protection Supervisor to develop and monitor the protection budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation and deployment of security resources.
  • Support procurement and maintain security equipment, vehicles, and technology essential for executive protection operations, ensuring optimal functionality and readiness.

Who you are:

You have:

  • 4+ years of experience in military, law enforcement, corporate security or a related field along with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management or a related field.
  • Strong situational awareness and threat assessment capabilities

You can:

  • Show outstanding decision-making and crisis management skills in addition to superb defensive driving, surveillance detection, and emergency response tactics
  • Offer experience working closely with and communicating with high-net-worth individuals or C-Suite executives

You are:

  • An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate discreetly and optimally in high pressure environments
  • Very organized with proficiency in the Microsoft office Suite

The following are considered assets:

  • Proven experience in protective intelligence and counter-surveillance
  • Industry-recognized certifications like the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation
  • Multilingual capabilities

Working Conditions:

  • Will travel extensively, sometimes on short notice, both domestically and internationally
  • Must be in excellent physical condition with the ability to handle high stress situations

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
