The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. Job Summary:

Reports to Director of Sales Strategy. Reviews and establishes site level retail prices daily, by analyzing daily cost changes, volume and profit trends, competition, financial performance by market and by site. Collaborates with pricing analytics team to use pricing optimization models to drive profitability throughout operating markets

Core Responsibilities:





  • Research and analyze current gasoline trends and competitive market environment



  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current pricing strategy and recommend daily price by site by market using historical price elasticities, competitive strategies, and sales forecasting



  • Run daily pricing optimization processes, including competitor pricing updates, cost and profitability analysis, and price elasticity models



  • Work closely with pricing analytics and operations teams on recommended pricing strategy in conjunction with sales planning processes and profit optimization plans





Required:




  • BS degree or relevant experience;



  • 5+ years experience in retail or pricing



  • Handles complex analyses with little supervision;



  • Proficient in computer skills, such as advanced or intermediate Excel;



  • Strong communication skills




Preferred:




  • Previous experience in retail or oil industry in Pricing



  • Master degree




Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.




  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
