The Payments group within Tyler Technologies is looking to fill a DevOps role. In this role, you will focus on automating the upgrade process for our software products, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments and migrating our solutions to the cloud. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams-including development, quality assurance, and operations to build robust automation frameworks and continuously improve our upgrade processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Ensure that infrastructure is reproducible and consistent across different environments (dev, staging, production).
  • Manage and deploy infrastructure on AWS.
  • Ensure the infrastructure and deployment process is scalable and automated.
  • Set up alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact production.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure a smooth software delivery pipeline.
  • Facilitate communication between teams to resolve issues faster and improve workflows.
  • Manage security of the infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Respond to and resolve incidents in a timely manner, working on-call in case of emergencies.
  • Perform root cause analysis to prevent recuring issues.
  • Work within Agile framework to contribute to sprints and deliver features or improvements to the infrastructure and deployments.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new DevOps tools and technologies to improve workflows and development cycles.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Maintain existing builds and deployment solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with one or more CI/CD Deployment Tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, or similar tools)
  • 2 years of experience in languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Docker/Containerization technologies is a plus
  • Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform is a plus.
