Requisition ID: 24649 E-ONE manufactures custom and commercial fire trucks including pumpers and tankers, aerial ladders and platforms, rescues of all sizes, quick attack units, industrial trucks, and ARFF (aircraft rescue firefighting vehicles).

SCOPE: Meet requirements for a Mechanical Technician and operate at the highest level of competency. Must have the knowledge and ability to understand how to complete manufacturing of fire emergency vehicles from customer written orders and prints. Electrical: Must be able to diagnose, detect and repair electrical issues on vehicle electrical (12v / 24v) systems . Rigging: Must be able to assist with sequencing of assembly tasks. Mechanical:Must be able to understand and perform detection and correction of mechanical & hydraulic systems. Will assist with design related issues as necessary. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Perform or assist with any operations, as required or directed, to maintain work flow or respond to production requirements. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED: Hand tools, hand power tools, saws, soldering iron, electrical test stand, voltmeters, amp meter, computer, and engine/transmission data readers, tape measure, digital level, torch, plasma cutter, air arc, fixtures, overhead crane, impact wrenches, stud welder, grinders, belt sander, drill press, templates, heat gun, saws, rivets and screw guns, drill press, belt sander, grinders, impact wrenches, shop truck, and fork lift; other tools are required.
