Responsibilities Job Summary The COORDINATOR-HEALTH UNIT performs a variety of diverse administrative/clerical duties for the unit including customer service and coordination of flow and activity on the unit, typing, filing, data input, answering phones, acting as a resource for the EMR for providers, assisting in notification of consultants, order entry for specialized and downtime orders, ordering supplies and preparing special projects for the unit. Provides support to the physicians by maintaining patient charts. Assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission, and critical goals of the organization into their job performance. Additionally, assumes responsibility for their role in achieving/maintaining financial health of the organization by utilizing resources effectively and efficiently; recommends change as necessary.
