Position Summary

This position supports an active operational program and is not a standard 9-5 role. The vessels in the portfolio operate 24/7, and while the Operations Project Manager is not expected to be on call at all times, they must be responsive to emerging issues and flexible in their support during periods of high operational tempo.
This plays a critical role in the day-to-day coordination, communication, and operational support of all vessels within the portfolio. This individual must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of supporting multiple program managers while engaging directly with internal and external stakeholders.


Duties And Responsibilities
  • Operational Briefings & Presentations:
    • Lead weekly internal presentations with the OTECH team covering the status of all vessel operations.
    • Present weekly portfolio-wide vessel updates to internal stakeholders and strategic partner.
  • Reporting & Summarization:
    • Prepare a weekly summary of vessel activities and provide a consolidated portfolio overview for the Portfolio Manager, Deputy, and Director.
  • Portfolio Awareness & Cross-Coverage:
    • Maintain full situational awareness of all vessels in the portfolio.
    • Serve as backup to program managers when they are unavailable.
    • Interface with multiple customers and respond to inquiries as needed.
  • Communications & Coordination:
    • Manage Starlink accounts for all portfolio vessels.
    • Manage and assist with SPOT LOA
    • Assist with tracking and planning the Portfolio & Program Manager's travel.
    • Generate and maintain personal access lists (PALs) for each vessel. The APM should know who is on each boat in the portfolio at all times.
    • Manage a cohesive calendar that tracks project milestones and major Out-of-Office (OoO) periods.
    • Support purchasing activities, including purchase request generation, issuance tracking, and PO tracking to ensure timely procurement and alignment with project needs.
  • CDRL Tracking & Deliverables Management:
    • Serve as the single point of contact for tracking and managing all portfolio Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items.
    • Ensure timely submission by gathering inputs and coordinating with responsible parties.
  • Security & Documentation:
    • Demonstrate working knowledge of portion marking and handling of security-classified documentation in accordance with applicable policies. (SCG)
    • Handle data transfers to the guest network in accordance with approved protocols.
  • Project & Financial Planning Support:
    • Possess a basic understanding of Microsoft Project, including critical path, predecessor, and successor relationships.
    • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and attend financial forecasting meetings.
    • Understand financial forecasting impacts, including labor hours, burn rates, and open commitments.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and willrequire commuting to a designated office.

PAY, BENEFITS AND WORK SCHEDULE:

We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. Annualized pay rate for this position: $102,000-138,000.
