JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing the workflow for Parent Mentor Learning Center grant deliverables. The Project Manager's primary function is to lead the strategy, reporting, tracking and execution of the National Parent Mentor Learning Center. Coordinates and manages the programming, planning, implementation and monitoring of the National Parent Mentor Learning Center and its initiatives and ongoing efforts. The PM will provide analysis, recommendations, decision support, and project management for the entirety of the project. The Project Manager will bring new and innovative ideas, techniques, and opportunities to the forefront to foster continuous improvement in strategy execution. Facilitates cross functional relationships with key stakeholders in order to align goals, strategy, and deliverables.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.

*Manages, assesses, and documents project scope and program, describing the objectives, stakeholder identification, resource requirements, parameters, risks and benefits of the project, timelines and tracks and communicates ongoing performance against goals. Documents current and future-state processes and oversees the development and implementation of priorities for the National Parent Mentor Learning Center.

*Manages the workflow for Parent Mentor Learning Center grant deliverables including: budget management, building of online platform, project management, feedback development/dissemination/analysis, event planning, compiling research & publications, and creating annual grant reports.

*Responsible for the project management of the National Parent Mentor Learning Center including project planning, scoping, executing, and messaging. Inclusive of monthly grant newsletter and social media messaging of the Learning center goals and progress.

*Responsible for building an online platform for project partners (pediatric hospitals in US/Canada) that provides resources and information on how to start, expand or improve hospital-based parent mentor programs. Responsible for the development and implementation of metrics toolkit, video & podcast library, and Parent Mentor program development content.

*Oversees and manages feedback development, dissemination, and analysis.

*Responsible for the management of the grant budget for the Dept of Family Centered Care & Packard Foundation.

*Responsible for planning events to promote the goals of the Parent Mentor Learning Center.

*Develops and maintains project charters to include purpose, objectives, scope, risk mitigation, metrics, timeline, communication plan, and deliverables, debrief, and measurements.

*Documents current and future-state processes and oversees the development and implementation of operational workflows for the National Parent Mentor Learning Center.

*Ensures project is progressing at appropriate timelines. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity and quality goals and deliverables. Monitors project deliverable progress and impacts and adjusts as needed.

*Manages communications on a regular and timely basis, ensuring that all project participants are informed of project status, barriers, and required actions.

*Implements quality control measures to ensure project compliance with department, hospital, and university policies, government codes and regulations; also ensures conformance to the requirements of all project participants.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying .

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university. Master's Degree preferred in a related field.

Experience: 3 years of experience implementing and managing innovation projects; conducting research and evaluation initiatives and training adults in family centered care in diverse settings.

Licensure/Certification: None required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

*Knowledge of program evaluation approaches and qualitative data analysis.

*Ability to conduct research and program evaluation, conduct analysis, reach conclusions and present findings.

*Ability to coordinate diverse teams effectively. Knowledge of human centered design.

*Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and work independently to meet deadlines.

*Ability to plan, develop and utilize online learning platforms.

*Ability to work with vendors productively.

*Ability to effectively coach national partners to implement, improve and sustain enterprise-wide family-centered care.

Pay Range
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $45.98 to $60.96
