Pay Range USD $60,500.00 - USD $62,000.00 /Yr. Overview The director is responsible for the planning, organization and supervision of the Cheel Campus Center/Arena and related programs. The director will contribute to the master plan, comprehensive plan and capital repair and replacement schedule. The individual must provide exceptional leadership and direction of facility and work well in a team oriented environment. Directly responsible for all facets of operation of Cheel Arena Responsibilities
NCAA Division I/III Compliance
Qualifications Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sports Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field BA/BS required. The Arena director has no established hours , yet is required to invest the time necessary to produce exceptional results. Must have 3-5 year's experience in sales and marketing and/or related sports management field. The successful candidate will have outstanding writing and verbal communications skills, a team oriented attitude, and strong work ethic. Applicant must excel at dealing with the general public and be comfortable with sales related duties. Individual must be proficient with computer program's such as Excel, Publisher & Word. Individual must be organized, very self-motivated, be able to multi-task, handle pressure situations with minimal supervision. Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the University. Must be willing to work weekends.
