Ocean Spray is looking for a creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner in Kenosha, WI. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, auditing, and coordinating maintenance related work activities for the entire facility. The Maintenance Planner also administers all activities involved with the scheduling of maintenance and/or the scheduling of equipment modifications.

A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Planner:

  • Develop PM requirements and schedules, which also include the development of job plans.
  • Develop and publish the results of maintenance metrics.
  • Ensure application of a standard maintenance planning process for shutdowns.
  • Ensure job plan standards are developed for PM's and repetitive tasks such as rebuilds, overhauls and time change replacements.
  • Evaluate work orders; establish job duration, skill assessment, and part requirements.
  • Establish equipment/asset numbers for new equipment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure work order and equipment history documentation is complete.
  • Leverage the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure relevant and accurate information is available for monitoring of/use in plant maintenance activities. Provides training in CMMS as necessary.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties/projects as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years maintenance or maintenance planning experience.
  • Prior experience with CMMS specifically relating to work orders, requisitions, PM's and inventory.
  • Excellent management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Strong ability to organize, plan and execute necessary maintenance activities.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong technical expertise.
  • Strong project management skills along with budget management.
  • Ability to generate and participate in root cause analysis.
  • Ability to coordinate vendor support for all areas in the facility.
