How you'll make an impact:

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist focused on the Technology category, you will play a critical role in supporting sourcing strategies, managing vendor engagements, and driving operational excellence across SiriusXM's technology spend. Your focus will include SaaS solutions, cloud services, enterprise software, infrastructure, and IT professional services.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across Technology, Engineering, Product, Finance, and Legal teams to execute sourcing projects, support negotiations, and ensure that technology purchases align with SiriusXM's goals for cost, quality, innovation, and scale.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about technology sourcing with strong analytical and relationship management skills.

What you'll do:

  • Support and help execute sourcing strategies across multiple Technology categories, including SaaS, cloud infrastructure, software licensing, cybersecurity, and enterprise tools.
  • Collaborate with business owners in Technology, Product, and Finance to align sourcing activities with operational needs and growth initiatives.
  • Manage sourcing project activities, including gathering business requirements, preparing RFx documentation, coordinating supplier evaluations, and analyzing bids.
  • Assist in negotiation efforts to secure competitive pricing, favorable commercial terms, and risk-managed agreements.
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned vendors, supporting contract management, supplier relationship management, and performance tracking.
  • Conduct spend analysis, market research, and total cost of ownership (TCO) assessments to inform sourcing strategies and decision-making.
  • Track supplier performance against contract requirements, service levels, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Help identify and recommend opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
  • Use sourcing and spend management tools (e.g., Jaggaer) to help drive sourcing activities and maintain accurate data and reporting.
  • Prepare sourcing project updates, vendor performance summaries, and spend reports for internal stakeholders.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent years of experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chain, preferably with a focus on technology categories.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing processes, supplier evaluation, and basic contract terms, particularly related to SaaS, software, and cloud services.
  • Proven ability to manage complex vendor relationships and drive performance in a decentralized environment.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills across technical and operational teams.
  • Experience using sourcing and procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Jaggaer.
  • Experience in multi-site or global facility operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $83,000 to $100,500 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
