Physician Assistant BURN CARE Full Time 85272BR Job Summary The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $78.62 - $105.82 (Hourly Rate). To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/compensation-and-benefits/index.html Department Description The Burn Inpatient unit and Outpatient clinic at St. Francis provide care for the patients undergoing intensive burn care, patients requiring complex medical management, as well as follow up management of burn care. Required Qualifications Completed as APA recognized graduate Master's Degree program as a Physician Assistant Active Physician Assistant licensure in State of California Current DEA License Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) A minimum one year of recent experience working in Acute or Critical Care as a Physician Assistant Current American Heart Association CPR certification Current American Heart Association ACLS certification. Submitted enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through the credentialing process by first clinical day This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. Demonstrated excellence in the following areas: clinical practice, communication, clinical case management, leadership/problem identification/resolution, and teaching. Preferred Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Inpatient Physician Assistant in an academic medical center. License/Certification UCSF Medical Center and Campus requires certain healthcare providers to be credentialed. In most cases this is done through its Office of Medical Affairs & Governance (OMAG) prior to the first working day. Credentialing and approval of the Standardized Procedures takes between 60-90 days but can vary.
