Job Title: EHS Associate
Location(s): New Albany, OH
What You Will Do
Let's do this. Let's change the world. Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) department in our client, OH location has an onsite assignment (June 2025 - Dec 2025). The position will be responsible for the following:
- Assist in the continuous improvement of Environmental Health and Safety programming.
- Support the implementation of new elements within our industrial ergonomics program.
- Assist with providing support for the Ergonomics program including performing ergonomic assessments and training.
- Assist in the assessment of ergonomic risk factors and implementation of control strategies.
- Perform data review and trend analysis.
- Support EHS Administrative tasks and duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Bachelor's degree or and 2 years of Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability experience
- Associate degree and 6 years of Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability experience
- High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree concentrations in Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental and Occupational Health, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training, or Physical Therapy.
- Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing industrial safety programs during new pharmaceutical facility start-up.
- Experience performing ergonomic risk assessments.
- Experience managing emergency action plans and emergency response activities.
- Knowledge of ergonomic assessment tools.
- Assist in the interpretation of EHS regulations to ensure compliance with Corporate, Federal, State and local requirements.
- Perform job hazard analysis and support Industrial hygiene, ergonomic, and other safety assessments as needed.
- Conduct and coordinate formal and informal EHS training for staff and contractors.
- Maintain appropriate records and documentation;
- Assist in Accident/Incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
- Working knowledge of ergonomic principles and practices.
- Strong written, verbal and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Computer literate including MS Office Suite.
