We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Owner to join our team. This role is pivotal in representing the software business enablement department, working closely with all software business units, marketing, customer success, and Keysight corporate IT on web and integrated cross-platform capability roadmaps and implementation to deliver software experience excellence end-to-end. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web, experience-first architecture, Agile product ownership, multi-functional and IT collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Roadmap Development: Working with the SBE Program Manager, develop and maintain a comprehensive end-to-end Web Software Experience directional roadmap, aligning with business objectives, software prospects and customers, and stakeholder needs.
- Product Backlog Management: Facilitate requirements gathering (from customer enablement enhancements and compliance changes, to managing ongoing security/compliance updates and technical debt), prioritization and directional roadmap of web initiatives, ensuring they are delivered timely and achieving successful outcomes.
- Metrics and KPIs: Working with the SBE Program Manager, ensuring for development of meaningful web metrics, such as effectiveness to generate leads, renewals, adoption and retention, and case deflection. Ultimately, data-driven insights, combined with customer experience practice, will drive recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Customer Experience Practice: Working with the SBE Program Manager, ensuring for regular Customer Usability testing and inputs on the Web experience end to end. Customer voice, combined with data-driven insights, will drive recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring the Web is effective from Marketing, Customer Success and Support perspectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison across all Software business units and multi-functions - marketing, customer success, sales, support and IT - ensuring transparent communication and seamless translation of strategic vision to actionable requirements.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in web technologies, customer experience practice, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation within the team to become, and remain, an industry leader in software web experience.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in a product owner or similar role, with a focus on Web experience, Web technology and System integrations.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Agile scrum methodology and organizational skills.
- Bridging the gap between Software customer experience needs, and internal Marketing, Sales, Customer success and Support objectives, and Technical debt and development, for DES Software Business Enablement. Product owners act as a bridge to connect Multi-Function's needs and the Strategic management function.
- Writing clear User Stories and keeping the Backlog of stories refined. Responsible for drafting and refining Web Software Experience stories into tasks that the development team can execute on. They translate Web Software Experience vision into actionable User Stories. Able to explain to the dev team 'the how' and 'the why' behind all user "Software Experience" stories and other tasks they're prioritizing.
- Staying accessible to development to quickly answer questions. Development sprints are time-boxed-usually two weeks, or a month -the team will need answers and guidance quickly. POs should have the answers and not require external assistance. The PO must be comfortable making fast and sound decisions.
- Managing and prioritizing the product backlog. Ensure the team remains fiercely focused and executes according to strategic Web Software Experience goals and priorities. Close collaboration with the IT Leads/Scrum Master to organize sprints. Review backlog of Web Software Experience User Stories and development tasks and prioritizing what the developers should take on next.
- Proficiency in web technologies, and integrated platform technologies.
Knowledge of Modern Web Design and Technology:
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, DAM (AEM) or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools.
- Experience with AI, Machine Learning and Chatbots.
- Experience with social media outlets, community forums, and web integration.
- Familiarity with creation and optimization of wireframes to enhance user experience (UX) and customer experience (CX).
- Experience in conducting usability testing and implementing feedback to improve web design.
Multi-function Technology is a plus:
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems like Salesforce.
- Experience with lead management platforms such as HubSpot, Eloqua, or Pardot.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.
