WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Working in Carson City, NV, the mechanical engineer intern will receive exposure to aerospace engineering projects and be provided with rewarding work allowing you to grow professionally. This position will work closely with the engineering team (both mechanical and electrical engineers), technicians, and report to the Engineering Manager.

A successful Intern with Bruce Aerospace will be considered for a full-time role with the Company upon graduation and is, in fact, a primary goal of the Intern program.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You are enthusiastic, motivated and self-driven. Being detail-oriented is your biggest strength. You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You must be an adept problem solver, have an excellent eye for design, and be willing to work as part of a team. Specifically, you:



  • Graduate no later than June 2026 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks or other CAD drafting programs.
  • Have a basic understanding of mechanical engineering theory.
  • Have a GPA of 2.75 or higher overall.
  • Have an aptitude for hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Are willing and able to perform a variety of tasks.
  • To conform with US export regulations and ITAR 12015 and EAR Part 772, incumbents for this role must be eligible for any required authorizations from the US government.
