JOB DESCRIPTION

As FOX Entertainment continues to pursue growth across content, platforms, and technology, the Strategy & Operations team plays a pivotal role in identifying, shaping, and executing strategic priorities. The Director of Strategy & Operations will serve as a senior leader responsible for incubating new business models, driving monetization strategies, and ensuring operational excellence across initiatives. The Director of Strategy & Operations will partner with executives to translate vision into actionable plans, manage high-impact projects, and unlock new revenue streams for the organization.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development, incubation, and scaling of new business models, including emerging monetization strategies, digital platforms, and audience engagement opportunities
  • Serve as the strategic lead on high-priority projects, overseeing end-to-end planning, execution, and performance tracking to ensure delivery of business objectives
  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market and operational plans for new initiatives, collaborating across functional teams including content, product, finance, and legal
  • Evaluate and prioritize business opportunities by conducting in-depth market research, competitive benchmarking, and financial modeling
  • Oversee the creation of robust business cases and strategic recommendations to inform investment and resource allocation decisions
  • Drive monetization strategies across FOX's portfolio by identifying innovative revenue streams, pricing models, and partnership structures
  • Manage the due diligence and integration planning for M&A and strategic partnerships
  • Craft and deliver compelling presentations for executive leadership, shaping long-term strategy and influencing high-level decisions
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team, developing junior talent and creating a culture of analytical rigor and operational excellence
  • Establish strong, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor to business unit leaders

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate strategy, business development, or management consulting, preferably within media, technology, or entertainment sectors
  • Demonstrated experience in launching or scaling new business models and managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Expertise in financial modeling, business case development, and strategic planning
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Deep understanding of monetization models across content, advertising, subscriptions, and digital products
  • Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $115,000.00-120,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
