We have an opportunity for an Internal Communications Specialist to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will be an integral member of the Corporate Communications team, supporting internal communications strategies, special events, and project management. You will serve as a key partner to internal cross-functional teams to drive the successful delivery of employee engagement communications projects.

You will:

  • Work with the Corporate Communications team, internal partners, and external agencies/vendors to execute projects while maintaining a set scope, timing, and budget.
  • Develop and implement communications content for various internal channels including newsletters, emails, and digital platforms to engage employees and deliver against defined communications priorities.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging across all corporate communications owned internal communication channels and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across segment or functional internal communication channels.
  • Maintain the corporate employee intranet by building pages and news stories, performing routine site maintenance and updates, and utilizing metrics to recommend platform enhancements.
  • Serve as the communications liaison for internal stakeholders including HR, Operations, IT, and others.
  • Plan and execute communications to support employee engagement initiatives, such as events and surveys.
  • Develop and maintain project management tools, calendars, and dashboards for communications team.
  • Gather data, develop dashboards, and maintain reports to demonstrate the effectiveness of internal communications programs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or comparable field
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in corporate, agency, or public-sector communications role
  • Excellent writing, editing, oral communications, communication planning, and project management skills.
  • Expertise in web and email content management systems, such as Adobe AEM and Staffbase
  • Highly detail oriented, organized and organizationally agile
  • Experience working in a matrix organization structure.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative business relationships.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $71000 - $131800 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
