Job Summary BASIC FUNCTION
HCSC is looking for a dynamic individual to join its Financial Services Division team! This position is responsible for performing complex calculations and data gathering related to establishing pension files; communicating with retiring employees and deferred participants; maintaining a pension file data base, assisting in data gathering for annual reporting and audits and in reconciliation of pension data with outside actuary. Will assist in the gathering of data for annual report forms 5500 and Summary Annual Reports. Must have strong technical skills to manage large, complex datasets to include: Excel, Access, Alteryx tools as well as Workday. Also, should be able to lift heavy Bankers boxes up to 30lbs.

NOTE: this role is NOT remote, relocation will not be extended and sponsorship either now or in the future is not available.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Three (3) years' of direct accounting and/or recordkeeping experience.
  • Proficient PC skills and experience in software packages, such as Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of and ability to maintain or research databases to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong mathematical skills and analytical skills.
  • Keen organizational skills.
  • Proficient verbal and written communications skills to include grammar, word choice, precision, conciseness, structure,
    audience appropriate tone and language.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or HR/Payroll.
  • Experience related to defined benefit/defined contribution plan administration or reporting.
  • Power BI utility experience.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
