Your Opportunity: Taymark, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking a Product Merchandising Manager to join their team in White Bear Lake, MN! In this role, you will be part of our Product & Merchandising team, responsible for developing and executing product strategies that drive revenue and margin across catalog and digital channels.

You will lead initiatives related to product lifecycle management, innovation, pricing strategy, and go-to-market execution. Using data and insights, you'll shape category performance, define customer-focused product plans, and ensure strong market fit. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, E-Commerce, and Creative teams to bring high-impact products to life-both in print and online.

Your Shift:

  • Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • This will be a hybrid role based in White Bear Lake, MN

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead product development and lifecycle management, from ideation through launch, ensuring alignment with customer needs, cost structure, and quality standards.
  • Research market trends to inform product innovation and maintain competitive positioning.
  • Develop and execute effective product line strategies aligned with business goals and customer needs, using campaign performance, sales, margin, and category trends as input.
  • Evaluate competitive pricing and implement pricing strategies based on market dynamics and margin objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and test new product opportunities and line extensions to grow category sales and profitability.
  • Own catalog pagination and site categorization to support customer journey and conversion goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cost-effective product development, manufacturing, packaging, and pricing.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels and develop action plans for aging or excess inventory.
  • Demonstrate understanding of category-level P&L performance, including margin, customer demand, pricing, and promotion strategy.
  • Ensure accurate and compelling product content across catalogs and websites; partner with Creative and E-Commerce teams on product presentation and user experience.
  • Partner with Marketing, E-Commerce, and Creative to support go-to-market strategy, promotions, campaign timing, and category representation across touchpoints.
  • Attend trade shows as assigned.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree and experience in a product or merchandising role within a multi-channel environment
  • 2+ years of product development or product management experience
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong prioritization and project management skills; ability to own multiple categories or brands
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate product performance, pricing, and customer insights
  • Ability to travel (10% of time) as needed
  • A passion for serving the education markets, children and having fun

We Would Prefer:

  • Direct experience in product management, product development, or category ownership within catalog/direct mail and online marketing channels

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $67,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
