About the Role

Our Corporate Functions Business Partner works alongside global functional leadership at every level to ensure our people strategy aligns with our business strategy and is focused on building and developing inclusive, high-performance, safety-focused teams which drive positive and lasting impact across critical functions including Information Security / Information Technology, Commercial / Business Development, and Procurement.

This role is responsible for implementing effective HR programs, and providing expert guidance on topics like compensation, people development, training, and legal compliance. The role adds value to the organization by helping the wider business and the HR leadership team make decisions (especially during times of change) and ensuring that HR activities align with business needs and company culture.

Key responsibilities: Manager, HR Business Partner, Corporate Functions

  • People Management: Manages a blended administrative team supporting corporate offices and key leadership.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts and foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with business leaders to understand organizational goals and develop HR strategies that support business objectives and drive performance.
  • Talent Management: Oversee onboarding, support career development initiatives, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition throughout the recruitment processes.
  • Change Management: Assist during organizational changes or restructuring by providing guidance and support to employees and leaders through transitions.
  • Project Management: Lead key HR projects across the full lifecycle, from inception through to adoption, ensuring our priority initiatives deliver the meaningful change and results we set as a team.
  • Policy Development and Compliance: Create, update and ensure compliance with company policies and laws and regulations.
  • Coaching and Consulting: Provide HR advice and guidance to department leaders, leveraging HR expertise to enhance leadership effectiveness.
  • Drive adoption of HR KPIs, Initiates, and Signature Processes: Collaborate with HR colleagues to implement and support HR signature initiatives and processes which optimize and deliver on our organizational goals.
  • Promote Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging: Promote diversity in the workplace through inclusive hiring practices and initiatives to engage and retain talent. Be a culture ambassador driving the adoption and adherence to our Primient standards.

ABOUT YOU

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic thinker, possessing strong business acumen, project / priority management, comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, and stays updated on industry trends. They excel in navigating people managers and employee relations, and in delivering clear communication enabled by data and a continuous improvement mindset. Coaching, mentoring, and change management are key levers in supporting the day-to-day work and a mindset that values empathy, proactivity, collaboration, resilience, and innovation is essential.

Background and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field (required)
  • Masters Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent (preferred)
  • Professional Certification(s) in HR, such as: PHR, SPHR, or other HR certifications (preferred)

Relevant Work Experience

  • 5+ years of work experience in a broad range of HR functional areas (required)
  • 2+years of global experience, working across different countries / jurisdictions to ensure alignment and understanding of local policies and processes.
  • 2+ years of experience in employee relation (preferred)
  • 1+ years of Workday experience (preferred)
Total RewardsThe annual pay range estimated for this position is $106,440.00 - $133,050.00 and is bonus eligible.

Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.
