Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support sales distribution network that is capable of consistently selling out plant capacity and meeting sales and market share goals while also meeting profit goals. This includes, but is not limited to, improving market penetration (depth and breadth), adding/improving distribution channels, entering and developing new markets/areas, expanding in-house direct sales capabilities, support in-house salespeople to meet sales goals, and cost-effectively providing those sales sources with the resources they need to be effective.
- Key contributor in development of quoting automation and keeping system up to date with current market pricing.
- Support for and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to (in cooperation with other departments) align the strengths of the organization with the market opportunities to maximize profit, ROI, and value for stakeholders in the Company. This includes, but is not limited to, development of product lines to respond to the market
- Call attention to leadership if pricing strategy or requests fall outside of target metrics for organization
- Based on assignment, lead Trailer release, license plate procedures MSO process, and contribute to remote trailer releases for storage lots.
- May serve as business point of contact for key customers based on assignment
- Follow in-house sales administrative personnel and activities. The activities include, but are not limited to, quote preparation, releases and shipments, sales promotions and advertising, external communications to dealers, reps.
- Participate directly in sales (and sales support) calls to internal and external customers, interact with customers, and interact interdepartmentally to promote Company sales and marketing efforts and to strive to maximize value added to the customer.
- Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, and accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.
- Contribute to the team effort to produce a quality product.
- Attend scheduled work hours on a regular and timely basis. Maintain good attendance.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Education: 4-year business degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in sales and marketing.
- Trailer industry experience preferred.
- Experience with CPQ tools preferred
- Attention to detail.
- Sales ability.
- Verbal communication skills, including in front of large groups of people.
- Knowledge of how to grow and build a business.
- Written communication skills.
- Computer skills.
- Must be able to perform each essential function and responsibility of the job satisfactorily in accordance with company productivity and quality requirements.

Training:
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements OFFICE (95% of time):
- Standing 3 - 6% of the time.
- Walking 6 - 13% of the time.

- Arm, wrist, hand, finger movement 45 - 50% of the time.
- Bending and twisting neck and trunk 1 - 3% of the time.

Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Vision requirement 20/40 distance (with or without correction) visual acuity distance using Snellin Method Guidelines and Purdue Job Standards. TRAVELING (5% of time):
