Compensation Grade: P18Compensation Details: Minimum: $66,442.00 - Maximum: $66,442.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OPH) CCH - Division of Family HealthJob Description: Responsibilities The Health Program Coordinator will assist in coordinating and contribute to the monitoring Bureau of Health Equity and Community Engagement contracts across New York State. The incumbent will serve as a liaison to contractors maintaining communication with contractors regarding program requirements; assess provider performance, monitor program outcomes and quality improvement activities; contribute to developing workplans while coordinating technical assistance to ensures compliance with program standards and goals. The incumbent will also review monthly/quarterly narrative reports and monthly data reports; prepare monitoring, narrative reports; and complete writing assignments and other duties as assigned. The Bureau of Health Equity and Community Engagement's mission is to engage, build trust, and create partnerships with community-based organizations that are credible messengers and who are responsive to the needs of their community. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience including coordination of projects/programs in a public health, health or human services related program; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications
Conditions of Employment Temporary, grant funded position expected to last through May 2026. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel, 10% of the time, may be required. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
