Looking for an experienced Physical Therapist to join the team to help cover for sick calls, weekend coverage and PTO! Join our esteemed Level 1 Trauma Inpatient Rehab Program embedded within Good Samaritan Hospital since 1954. Specializing in neuro-trauma rehab for stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury patient populations. Some highlights of our program include a comprehensive mentorship component, highly engaged team members involved in practice councils and committees, driving program, access to therapeutic recreation and rehab psychology services, and increasing access to cutting-edge assistive technology and state of the art therapy equipment. Our rehab care continuum seamlessly connects the inpatient rehab program to acute care and outpatient neuro therapy, ensuring holistic patient recovery. FTE: 0.01, Shift: Day, Schedule: Variable Position Summary The Physical Therapist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, evaluating, planning, and implementing medically prescribed treatment programs for patients to restore functions, relieve pain and prevent disability following disease or injury. This professional-level position gives you the capacity for independent operations as you apply discretion and good judgment toward ensuring high-quality therapeutic care. Responsibilities You will perform well in stress and emergency situations You will perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment You will perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed You will perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate You will communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients Requirements Successful completion of state board examination Currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Washington Experience in orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac patient management desirable Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $47.76 - $72.39 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
