As an Electrical Commissioning Coordinator, you will play a vital role in this transition. This position is central to ensuring that project facilities are commissioned safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational goals and environmental commitments. You will lead electrical commissioning activities across complex projects, contributing directly to Worley's promise of providing integrated, data-centric solutions that span the full asset lifecycle-from design to decommissioning. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all electrical commissioning activities on-site, ensuring alignment with project execution plans, safety protocols, and operational readiness standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure that systems are designed, installed, and tested in accordance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Direct the activities of commissioning and start-up teams, including setting priorities, managing work schedules, and ensuring optimal team performance.
- Evaluate project design documentation and recommend changes to enhance system operability, safety, and sustainability.
- Develop and implement commissioning procedures, workflows, and technical guidelines that align with Worley's systems and sustainability objectives.
- Oversee the completion of commissioning deliverables, including check sheets, turnover packages, and test records.
- Facilitate the safe turnover of systems to operations and verify that all systems function according to design requirements and regulatory standards.
- Engage with stakeholders across multiple disciplines to ensure effective communication, issue resolution, and alignment on commissioning progress and performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
- Support the development of less-experienced team members through knowledge sharing and mentorship.

Qualifications / Skillset
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent trade qualification supplemented with additional specialized training.
- Extensive practical experience in commissioning and completions within large-scale industrial projects, typically gained over ten to fifteen years in the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of commissioning methodologies, standards, and documentation practices, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, protection schemes, control systems, and safety protocols across a variety of project types.
- Experience interpreting and influencing engineering designs to optimize system functionality, maintainability, and sustainability.
- Proven ability to implement and align project execution plans in accordance with corporate policies, procedures, and sustainability objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and influence stakeholders across diverse disciplines.
- Skilled in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making in dynamic project environments.
- Proficiency in digital tools and commissioning management systems, with the ability to support the development of new systems and processes where required.
