Now is your chance as Hearth & Home Technologies is hiring aManufacturing Engineerin Mt Pleasant, IA. This position has core hours of Monday through Thursday, 6:00AM - 4:20PM. A successful Manufacturing Engineer will impact the business by: Managingsmall to large scale projects to achieve timely improvements to SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics. Drivefacility's lean culture by supporting business process improvements through Continuous Improvement events. Assessand eliminatesafetyrisksin the manufacturing environment and drive improvements to ergonomicsthroughout the production process. Establish production run rates, balance standard work, create smooth flow of material and finishedproduct. Improve product qualityby building quality control and mistake-proofing into the manufacturing process. Drive cost reduction through improved labor efficiency, improved material utilization, reduced defect rates Implement product changes through ECO process and support new product launches. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree inManufacturingEngineeringor Related Field 4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, primarily Excel, Project, Outlook; & AutoCAD Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles Skills and Abilities Must be organized, ability to prioritize, and manage multiple tasksand projects. Ability to influence and adapt to continuous improvement driven change. Proven project leadership Strong communication and presentation skills Demonstratedability to solve complex problemsandthinkstrategically Work with cross functional teams and leaders Ability to exceed customerexpectations Environment Primarily in a Manufacturing facility with split focus between an office environment and production floor. Periodic work outside core business hours may be required during key businessprojects Less than 10%travel.
