Job Description: Position Summary The Head of People, Property & Performance is a senior enterprise leader responsible for optimizing internal operations and enabling scalable, sustainable growth. This role integrates and oversees Facilities & Workplace Strategy, Information & Knowledge Management, Internal Communications, Corporate Events, and People Operations (HR) functions, with HR comprising approximately 25% of the role's focus. The title may be Vice President or Senior Director, depending on experience. Reporting to the CEO, this role serves as a strategic partner in advancing the company's organizational effectiveness, operating model transformation, and sustainability agenda. The leader drives initiatives that align internal functions with evolving business needs-balancing operational excellence with digital innovation, employee engagement, and environmental impact. Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Organizational Alignment
Work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to ensure operational alignment with strategic objectives. Lead cross-functional initiatives that support company growth, operational efficiency, and risk management. Monitor and drive execution of strategic administrative projects across departments. Identify and implement scalable systems to improve productivity, reduce costs, and modernize workflows. Lead risk assessments for administrative functions
Administrative Oversight & Corporate Services
Manage and provide executive oversight for non-revenue generating departments: HR (in coordination with HR Director), Facilities, Internal Communications, Risk Management, Corporate Website, and Information Management. Identify inefficiencies and implement systems to improve workflows, reduce costs, and increase productivity Champion digital transformation efforts across administrative and operational domains. Ensure consistent implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Property & Resource Management
Oversee property strategy and operations for company facilities, leases, vehicles, and insurance. Optimize the use and management of shared corporate assets and subscriptions. Develop and manage administrative and facilities budgets, ensuring fiscal discipline and value creation for all departments.
Performance & Benchmarking
Track and report corporate performance metrics in collaboration with department heads and generate reports for executive leadership and Board meetings Lead development of industry benchmarking tools to inform strategic planning company-wide. Use data-driven insights to guide executive decision-making and policy development across all departments. Serving as a liaison across functions, foster interdepartmental collaboration and resolve operational conflicts.
People Management:
Required/Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degreeAND 10 years or more of related work experience In lieu of bachelor's degree, high school diploma/GED AND 15 years or more years of related work experience
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or advanced degree, preferred Seven (7) or more years in a senior leadership role in strategic operations, management consulting, investment banking, or high-growth corporate environments. Former management consultant (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or internal strategy/operations executive with proven success in enterprise transformation, operating model design, or organizational effectiveness. Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact, ideally across internal functions such as workplace, knowledge systems, communications, or business services. Sector experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, private equity-backed companies, or related industries strongly preferred. Strong command of corporate strategy, operational planning, and financial acumen, with an ability to connect internal functions to enterprise value creation. Skilled in managing executive-level communications, preparing board materials, and engaging with senior stakeholders to drive alignment and action. High proficiency in project management, performance measurement, and data analysis tools to inform decisions and track ROI. Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments. Effective leader and influencer with strong presence, collaboration skills, and the ability to drive change across diverse teams and organizational levels. Familiarity with ESG strategy, digital transformation, and DEI enablement in operational and workforce contexts. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and performance tracking tools is a plus.
