JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary: The FLITE Supervisor oversees the administrative and clinical operations of a multidisciplinary team that serves the needs of co-occurring adults and their families in a Multidisciplinary Child Welfare Team which will serve families in Circuit 20, (primarily Lee County). The supervisor manages referrals and ensures adherence to Centerstone, FLITE program policies and procedures guaranteeing clinical standards and chart compliance. Program services are provided primarily in the community.

Minimum Qualifications: Position requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least two years working with substance use, mental health, and/or the child welfare system. At least one year supervisory experience and valid Florida driver's license with safe driving record is required.

Preferred Qualification: Licensure in the State of Florida as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and

Family Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor; OR a Certified Addictions Professional (CAP); and 2 years' clinical experience working with children/families. Experience in management and addictions preferred.

Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge and understanding of the characteristics of co-occurring adults, their families, and family systems. Highly motivated, organized, self-directed, willing to work a variety of hours, including evening and on-call.

Essential Functions:

Reports to work as scheduled on a daily basis and performs assigned duties to ensure the smooth operation of the department. Provides clinical and administrative supervision and consultation to assigned staff which includes therapists, peers, and case managers. Performs administrative tasks including completing performance appraisals of team staff, approving timesheets, and overseeing staff development compliance. Provides individual, group, and family counseling/psychotherapy on-site (e.g. home) and in office to a reduced caseload as needed. Consults with child welfare, community agencies and families to maintain coordination of the treatment process. Advocates for individual and family's rights and needs. Manages referrals which includes screening and assignment of clients. Attend community meetings for networking purposes. Monitors budget and works with Manager/Director to develop action plans as needed. Ensures timely collection of performance outcome data and reports data to Director. Explores with team, ways to improve outcomes. Maintains quality assurance standards by preparing for chart audits, compiling and reporting peer chart reviews and overseeing the collection of client satisfaction surveys. Provide on-going feedback to Director. Organizes and conducts treatment team meetings and provides clinical guidance/resources to staff on an ongoing basis. Provides on-call crisis intervention services during nighttime and weekend hours as needed. Coordinates schedule for on-call coverage and provides backup to on-call staff. Assumes other responsibilities as assigned or required.

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Works in well-lighted areas. Sits, stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during work hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Is involved with clients, residents, family members, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., in a behavioral health setting.

Position Type, Expected Hours of Work and Travel: Management position with varying hours depending on program needs. Travel expected daily. This is not a remote position, work hours occur in a community or office setting.

$53,250.00--$74,600.00
